What I think about when I run - 1

Believe it or not I have been running regularly.

While I run I think about lots of things. By the way I don't like running basically. I went for a run at 11 this morning and was mainly thinking: Can I really have my firm bum after several months running?

I kind of want an athletic figure now. I have never ever thought about it in my life before because I am lazy about doing sport. I think that I have just been lucky because I haven't needed to care about my figure until this age. But you know, I am not young anymore physically and I should start working out before I realize it is too late. And of course I would like to stay fit.

Anyway, again as I don't like running in the first place I always want to quit running as soon as I start. Running is really hard! However I've decided to run after the Great North Run 2010. How difficult it is to run for someone else! I don't think I can run for charities but at least want to try for myself to start with. Someone told me that I could run for vanity. Maybe, but whatever as long as I can stay in shape and healthy.

I normally run from my place to a huge park - it takes 5 minutes - and from its gate to the lake, 3 rounds around the lake, run up to the gate and then home. When I looked at my watch after 3 rounds around the lake today, Oh my God, it had only been 20 minutes since I left my place (supposed to be 25 minutes). That meant that I had to run one more round to make it a half an hour run. "Bloody hell. What am I doing? I am running bloody fast today. Oh no. I want to quit now but I at least have to run for half an hour, right? I'll have to keep going then. Ugh!" By the time I came home it had been 40 minutes since I started. Well, I have done pretty good today. 

Will I enjoy running someday?
